I guess summer really is coming to a close.  The summer fireworks show that happens every Wednesday and Saturday at Navy Pier end this week.  Wednesday night at 9:30 will be the last weekday show and Saturday night at 10:15 will be the last weekend show… at least until next summer.

Just because the movies in Grant Park are done for the year doesn’t mean you have to wait until next summer…

On September 1st you can see Coraline at Sauganash Park and Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa in Kinzie Station Park!  Both movies will start around 8pm but you still want to get there a bit early… And with the weather we’ve been having, be sure to bring blankets… Lots of blankets!

September is here and the weather seems to have shifted to Fall mode.

Does that mean your Summer is over?

Of course not.  There are still plenty of outdoor activities to keep us occupied and in the Summer state of mind.  I will be updating the calendar with many options shortly.

Are there any events that you would like to see highlighted?  Feel free to contact me to have them included.

I appreciate you stopping by WindyCityEvents.com and hope to have you coming back for more updates!
