1412288480887Adler Planetarium is hosting Astronaut Rex Walheim so that you can get a sneak peek at NASA’s new spacecraft, Orion.
NASA astronaut Colonel Rex J. Walheim and Deputy Manager of NASA’s Orion Program, Mark Kirasich, will give Adler guests an exclusive preview of the Orion spacecraft, NASA’s new space vehicle built for crewed missions to the Moon, asteroids and Mars. Orion will be launched for the first time in December during an unmanned mission, known as Exploration Flight Test-1 (EFT-1). This will be the first of two scheduled test flights before the capsule’s first crewed mission lifts off in 2021.
